Crazy 4 Clut 2

This Friday, August 22nd, is the opening of G1988's blockbuster group show Crazy 4 Cult 2.

The show will have over 100 artists reinterpreting classic cult films.

Here is my piece based off of the movie - The Big Lebowski

Not so new news - Toys! and Comic Con

This is a new blog so I'm going to backtrack a bit.

In April I was in a really cool group show at G1988 titled Toys!

Not only did I sell my third set of Clone paintings based off one of my favorite childhood toys the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:

but I got to customize a Hot Wheels van that Mattel, the toy company, gave each of the artists.

The show was packed and got some great press. It was even covered by the ABC 7 news.

As it turned out, Mattel bought my customized van and put it on display with some of the other vans at this years Comic Con in San Diego. I didn't end up going but G1988 took some pictures:

Anyway, since then I've continued painting, writing/recording music, and developing stories for many of the characters that appear in my paintings. Plus I have been working on a new piece for G1988's huge summer show, Crazy 4 Cult 2.
